MERT 22 Special Event Exercise
Welcome to the 22nd-year of the Marion County Emergency Radio Team (MERT) serving the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. We are extremely proud of our second decade of emergency communications service to the Division of Emergency Management.
As FCC licensed Amateur Radio Operators who have completed FEMA/NIMS training on the Incident Command System (ICS) and having been fully vetted/background checked, we stand ready to serve during critical events like hurricanes, tornados and other declared emergency events.
MERT’s Motto is – “When everything else fails… call MERT!”
